I am brand new to the hobby, just transferred two clowns from QT to DT after 33 days of observation. One is fine, but the one in the image now has white stringy poop AND these dots showed up yesterday.
I'm treating the internal issue with general cure and focus bound to the food, but if it also has Ich, do I go back to the QT tank and great both?
The fish is acting and eating normally.

Tough to say, it’s a bit large for ich, and seems to be coming up from under the skin. watch the location of the spots over the next day: if the come and go, or show up n new locations, then it is likely ich. If the same spots stay in the same location and don’t increase n numbers, it is probably not ich.
Observational quarantine doesn’t manage diseases prophylactically, you should always treat with copper and GC in the QT. Focus and GC is very difficult to dose properly.

Thanks! These are my very first saltwater fish. I was very stressed about incorrectly medicating them and I probably learned my lesson early.

Can I dose general cure into the display? There is nothing else in it except rock and sand right now.

I have found 30 days of copper. Than switch to prazipro and observations for a total of a minimum 2 months does the trick

I would probably watch the spots and if it seems to be ich then I would move them into the QT for at least 72 days until the ich dies off in the DT. Treat with general cure and ICH X works absolute wonders.

It depends what is living on the rock; just bacteria and algae is fine, but other critters may be impacted by the metro. You will be able to use carbon and water changes afterwards to remove it with no problem.
