Ruby Head is in QT tank... yes.
Only the 6 line to go.
The others have been in QT 1 week soon.

Can these fish handle 40 days in CP?

Did a big water change today.
Everyone is looking OK, except "Skinny" one of my leopard wrasses, I bottle feed him everyday. I think he is old and cant see properly. So i use a small bottle that he goes in to to eat every days.. works well. Skinny seems to be sleeping a lot, did not eat much and back to sleep.

Now what to do with the mandarins?
I need to make sure they are eating before dosing anything....

40 days of copper power isn't going to be an problem if there are no other issues at the same time....I'm thinking the wrasse here.

Right - the plan for the mandarins is to add live rock from DT sump... and the nylon matt from algae scrubber - teaming with POds. Also ordered

Brine Shrimp Eggs .... that hatch​

Read these may work, then when getting close to the end of 76 days - i will TTM closer to the end of the fallow period.

Jay - if the skinny wrasse dies, well that will be sad but better him than him and all the others as well.
If the other wrasses are ok with 40 days then that would be good.

Dam 6 line ... he sleeps in a big rock, too big to remove and put it in a bucket.

I have left a bottle trap in the tank... there is no food for him, he will get hungry soon, surly!

Yea.................... 6 line is out of my DT.
Day 0 starts now...- 7 June 8:30pm

What a ******* that fish was, he actually has been a good fish and not harmed anyone, but I am unsure if I should add him back to the DT. I made a divider out of egg create and curtain material... then slowly moved it to one end, moving the rock. And got him trapped in a corner. The divider got to about 1/3 of the tank trapped...

Mandarins are in small QT tank with some live rock etc from DT...
I will do TTM closer to day 76... for now I just want to keep them alive.

Update - 30th May Tangs went in to QT tank.... 12days....
Last of the fish went in a few days later -Wednesday - so today is day 4 for all the fish.

I have been doing 14G water changes - QT tank is 58G about 3 x week.
Dosing a cap of Prime morning and night
Dosing - Cap full of Seed and 4 drops of BioS - night and morning , CPower is at 2.25.

Ammonia badge has been siting at Alert - Green 0.05ppm the whole time. Total ammonia has been high - not sure how high.

Feeding regularly - several times per day - 14 fish in 220l - 58G.
No vacuuming - container of sand - for wrasses - spilt everywhere and sand sifting goby happy.

Today - my ammonia badge has gone Yellow - looks like the tank has cycled.
Tested Total ammonia and it takes a long time to show up... so 0.1-.15 (30min) - Seachem test lit

Free ammonia has been 0 the whole time as I have been dosing prime.. cap morning and night - tan is not cloudy.

I have 2 x internal sponge filter that where new in to the QT tank and have taken 12days to cycle in Copper Power.

You can see skinny wrasse in his feeding bottle, I put food in this every morning or night.
Tank has cycled...26 days to go with copper power.
Not huge water changes... just to control Total Ammonia... prime looks after free Ammonia
