ok so i have ick on a sailfin tang i had it on my blue hippo tang and was able to quarintine it in a 20 gallon for now, but problem is i know its still in the system so how can i kill it as i only have my quarintine and display tank so i cant put my fish in quarintine for the 6 weeks any other options. iv been feeding with garlic i tried ick attack in the display and i have copper in the quarintine. thanks.

The only way is to keep your display fishless for an extended period of time. How are the fish?

Garlic will only elicit a feeding response fromt eh fish to help boost their immune system. it will not cure Crypt (Marine Ich). you need to do either hyposalinity for up to 6 weeks or copper for the fish, and leave your display fishless for 6 weeks. These are the only TRUE ways to kill the parasite. do some good research on it...Reefkeeping magazine has some really good articles on it.
