So sent in my icp test for tank and RODI. initially couldn't find my rodi results but they posted them today. Some levels are very high. Use dual membranes, fresh BRS Carbon, 1 micron pre filter and Brs color changing resin. Water goes into rubber bladder storage tank where I took sample from. Here are results:
Report from my water company SCWA which is reputable states no trace of c these chemicals. Wonder if they could find myvresults so posted someone else's. Copper from rodi is 80 ppb but from aquarium test 2.069 ppb. Whats using up the copper?
Lead .323 ppb ro and from tank down to .039
Should I detox or metasorb? HELP

TDS is zero using in line testing meter. Tds runs between 50-100 from street. Sediment filter changed jan 1, carbon changed 4/1/21. But tested with Hach tester and chlorine was 0.00.
Water is from faucet in pic directly into same tube.It was a cheapo faucet so maybe I'll look for a replacement.

Yes, metal fitting into a steel tank. Tank supposed to have a rubber bladder inside.

I can't tell, but will try and disassemble over weekend to get a better look. Could the metal faucet be the cause as well?

The entire top half of that bladder tank is exposing the water to metal. These are used as expansion tanks for water heater and boiler heating systems as well as RO drinking systems. I would get rid of it and use a reef save plastic container.

Im surprised. I thought the purpose of the butyl liner was to prevent the water from touching the tank.

The rubber is there to act as a diaphragm. there is air on the bottom side and water on the top. When you add water the diaphragm expands into the air space. That raises the air pressure on the air side. When you open the faucet it is that pressure on the diaphragm that pushes the water out of the tank.

They are usually lined or they would rust right away, like any pressure tank. But the diagram is the way to go, I would use more valves. Don’t trust check valves

They do rust, and leak. The most common failure of an expansion tank is the rubber deteriorating which causes the tank to equalize its pressure on both sides.

Kstatefan-You should not have RODI in the tank just RO water.
Why shouldn't DI go into the tank?

How about a composite tank like this.
