Hello Everyone

Fauna Marin has relaunched it's ICP testing for European and American costumers.

The following macro and trace elements are measured in the basic ICP test:
Magnesium, calcium, potassium, strontium, boron, iodine, sulphur, sulphate, phosphate, phosphorus, silicon, manganese, lithium, molybdenum, iron, bromine, chromium, cobalt, beryllium, vanadium, zinc, antimony, copper, barium, selenium, cadmium, tin, aluminium, titanium, nickel, scandium, zirconium, silver, tungsten, lanthanum, arsenic.

° The testing will be done at our headquarters laboratory in Germany. All tests purchased in the US will be shipped to our location in Fort Meyers.
° Twice a week (Mondays/Thursday) the tests will be transferred to our headquarters.
° You will receive the analytical results via email. The analysis sheet will have directions and will provide a list of products that can be used to solve any issue your tank may have.
° For further support open a thread right here in the sponsor forum “Fauna Marin“ on Reef2Reef.com, one of our specialists will be happy to help with any questions.

Hello Corey,
where can I find the lowest detectable concentrations of the measured elements? I am especially interested in the 'Physiologically relevant trace elements and color-relevant micronutrients'.
Kind regards, Hendrik

Hi i am looking for some advice. Got icp test results back can anyone explain how phosphorus can be so low but phosphate is so high i thought the 2 were directly linked as i use a hanna checker phosphorus ulr and convert to phosphate with the following formula.
Phosphorus ppb x 3.066 ÷ 1000 = phosphate ppm. I posted this on the facebook fauna marin group and miriam hof said the test must be wrong. I did my own tests with the same sample of water results are attached with the icp.
Thanks FB_IMG_1585045176881.jpg

it's the same. just different types of measurement. like cm to inches or lbs to kg.

Sent in the 14th of March. Lockdown then proceeded to ruin everyone's fun (for good reason).
Just went through my tank looking at corals, and remembered that this has not come in.
I will wait until we can all get back to normal to submit another test.

Most likely they are locked down. I am calling it a wash on my end. No one wanted this, I hope they all are healthy.

Please contact me directly: [email protected]
The biggest problem is the internal shipping with USPS. This is why we alway recommend to add the tracking option to your shipment. If they loose it and we will never receive it we will get blaimed and this is somehow not fair. So please contact me send me the details and I will check if we even received it. We are fully up and running.
