Tank details: 4 year old 40g, mixed acro’s dominant, 10g sump with skimmer, full chamber of chaeto that goes unharvested. My powerheads are all magnetic over 1.5 years old. All off Amazon. Jeboa’s or similar. Red Sea Ab+, microbacter 7. Mostly frozen cubes of mysis and occasional flakes. Kh 9.1 stable, cal 457 (high), mag probably around 1420 (raised since ICP and before the results). Test results showed low salinity. My refractometer calibration solution hasn’t done its job apparently. I use aquaforest hybrid salt, pretty close to 9.0 kh and cheaper are why I use it. AFR for dosing (9 ml/day). I’ve been adding Tropic Marin A-, K+ about 2 times a week. I’ll add pdf of results. I tried to be as specific and upfront about everything I can But any questions feel free to ask.

My notes/questions from results (just numbers included, not in correct measurements terms and then the recommended level): Barium the only critical. Way too low. 1.1 should be closer to 9.6.

Elements above range; Strontium 9.8 should be near 7.5, Bromine 79 should be near 62.

Not detectable; Manganese, Iron, Vanadium, chrome, cobalt, selenium, tin, arsenic.
Slightly under are iodine 47 instead of near 60. Molybdenum 6.8 should be near 11.
Slightly above are potassium, lithium, silicon, nickel, copper, zinc. Zinc is the most problematic at 4.8 and should be 1.1.
Only pollutants detected were aluminium but was in range.

My plan, please let me know if you disagree. Not doing anything until I at least post on here for some suggestions from y’all that know a lot more than me. I have Red Sea ABCD and tropic Marin A-, K+ on hand. I plan on getting some Cuprisorb for the slight high heavy metals, mostly due to zinc because I could supplement most of my lows (especially barium, but also Iron, manganese/other’s not detected) with K+ if zinc weren’t high. Then add healthy amounts with the K+. Looked at chaetogro too. If there’s a product you think I should checkout please tell.

How is the tank doing visually?

First thought: not all icp “issues” need any attention.

Ignore barium. It has no known biological role in any organism.

Strontium and bromide are fine. Zinc is fine.

No binder is needed.

Some TM A and K may be useful. Exact values for most trace elements cannot be justified.

Ok thanks man, system seems to be fine to me. I wasn’t getting good growth from my acro’s but I think that was mostly due to a low calcium/magnesium because I raised them about a month ago and I’ve seen improvements since.
