This thing looks like a piece of cloth, completely black crawling in my tank.
Anyone knows what it is. Good or bad? thanks!

Elephant Snail, Scutus Scutus. Good to clean algae, won't hurt a thing in your tank. I have hundreds of them in my tanks, they keep things nice and clean.

They are really cool my kids called ours the phantom! It is basically a snail at times you can see the white shell through a slit on the top of the black mantle.

My scutus was a bulldozer!! It knocked over all my corals.
