Hi everyone,

I've been looking at this hammer on ebay and it looks nice. I've been meaning to buy it, however, it is advertised as a Holy Grail Hammer.
My question is. Do you think is it truly a Holy Grail or something else.

Here's the only picture showed in the product page.

Thanks in advance!

Hey. I would expect a HG to be super bright neon green, almost yellow. The first pic does seem very bright. Second pic makes it look totally different, like an average green stem hammer.

Yes, that's what I thought. It doesn't look like a HG Hammer. Thanks for confirming my suspensions.

What are you looking for in a hammer? After checking online, It seems there’s a lot of different HG hammers. Not sure what a true HG should look like. Sbb corals has this rustic yellow hammer for $80 with code and several sweet holograms on auction right now. Could be some good prices.

Definitely not a holy Grail hammer. As far as I knew, HG hammers had orange heads and green stems. More like this:

However, over time green stems and orange head hammers became more common, so people started calling other things HG. Bright green stems on orange is still uncommon though.

If I was going to spend on a fancy hammer, I would get something like this.

Now that’s a show stopper piece

I would like to see an unedited picture of that hammer

Looks like a gold tipped hammer. I just purchased one that was gold/blue tipped 3 weeks ago that is the branching type from Lucky Corals. Fairly similar in appearance to that one.

I try to buy rare color morphs and (if I can find one) for my garden. Those look good but the pictures look treated or the flash was too close and burned the image.

I've bought some hammer from AquaSD in the past. However, looking at the images on their website, you can tell that they have been heavily treated and the saturation slider dragged all the way to the top. It is easier to tell if you look at the purple coraline in the frag rack in the back.

This is a HG that I have. The one with the hammers in the back is my picture, no filters just an orange lens in the camera, the close-up is a picture from the vendor.

If you can’t see it in person then you can’t know what it’s going to look like, especially with your lights and not their lighting and camera and photos editing.

Anything you buy from a blue light picture is a crapshoot. You might be very happy or not. If you buy you should promise yourself not to complain if/ when you hit snake eyes, because you will if you order online,

That’s pretty close. Not as much neon as the picture but I like the gold/orange tones that your picture captured better

These Wilson’s just shipped and the one on the right looks just like the one on the left, it’s just smaller than the one shown on the left and I didn’t see the one on the right in person, but the left one looks like a smaller version of what is pictured on the right.

Here are some pictures of my garden. Sorry for the glare. I love euphyllia, favia, duncans, chalices and bubble corals. This tank in filled to the top. I'm getting a new one soon to keep growing my garden. I hope you guys like it.
