Looking for input on an ID for this SPS colony. I call it "Kaffir Lime Cockroach". It survived a tank move where it was left for over a week in a unheated bucket of live rock. Put it back in the tank and it grew like a weed.

Any ideas?

Cool piece. Maybe our #SPSexperts will know a species ID. It kind of looks efflo-ish to me.

If you kill it Daniel will give you a perfect ID.

Otherwise, it looks like an efflo but also has a little granulosa vibe to it. I'd lean funky looking Efflo, or call LE Effulosa.

After checking out pictures of granulosa, I'm pretty confident that's what it is. But I did learn that another one I did not know the name for is an efflo... win/win

I'd bet on the Granulosa. Nice one, spread the wealth in case of another crash:) I got back a coral I started 6 yrs. ago.

Do you Have A photo without the blue LED to see the true colors ?
