Hi all

Would love someone to id this for me ,a family member bought for me but never got the name ,I thought it was a acan of some sort but it's not like my other acans and Iv got a few , there soft to the touch and this is rock hard
It's grey with brown spots but under the blue light the brown becomes a bright orange which looks good
Anyway it feeds abit like a acan but I'm just not sure ,any info would be great Thanks

Sure looks like Acan echinata. They come in a variety of different colors. They are absolutely my favorite coral. I've seen them destroy neighboring corals that get to close. Nice gift for sure.

They are brutal sometimes. Gotta love them though. I hope your zoanthids recover.
