Hi, I’ve searched through photos prior to posting, can someone tell me what this is? I thought it was a Zoa but it doesn’t quite look like my other Zoas lol Thank you in advance!

Im thinkin they're palythoas! Look close to zoas but a bit different.
Thank you! I googled it and it sure looks like them. They were high up in a frag rack, so maybe they’re a bit bleached. They’re Lavendar right now. Hopefully they recover and get more color soon.

Hell yeah! Free corals are the best corals (except aptaisia. I hate aptaisia) if I remember right, they like similar placement as zoas if that helps at all

Are tuxedo urchins known to munch on them?
I've herd of it in some cases. I'd say try it and monitor. if you get one that's chewing on them then take it to your lfs. I hear a lot of good things about them but no personal experience. I have herd to make sure you glue your corals down because they're like a bulldozer

I don't think a tuxedo urchin will eat it, but they will probably move it if it's not stuck in place properly
Right now my urchin is wearing a cerith snail on its head, along with a clump of algae and some shells. :rolling-on-the-floor-laughing:
