what do they look like with lights on? if it is closed it may be green snake polyps.

It looks like either majano anemones or baby green protopalys

Majanos can be bad (I've never had to deal with them personally), some people like protopalys some people don't. I don't have a problem with protopalys...they can be slightly invasive but they grow slow.
