I've got these long tentacles coming out of my live rock, what are they? Generally there is only one per hole. They are whitish, knobby, and thicker at the end. Up to 3 inches long, they move in the current, but sometimes seem to be independent of the current. The closest I've been able to come up with are spaghetti worms, but those have many tentacles.

looks like it can be hydros, If so there bad and you cant remove them, inless you remove the rock. they Spread and have a nasty sting to other corals surrounding it.

If so try to put some Glue or epoxy where you can see it coming out.

No worries really. I've had them in my tank for over a year. No problems for my corals. They seem to come and go with tank conditions. The higher the nutrients the more they thrive.

No sooner had I posted that pic, than a cleaner shrimp stepped on that acan head and the digitata popped out of the acan's mouth. Everyone looks normal now, but I kinda think the acan was trying to eat the digitata.
