we have been having a hard time trying to figure this out, there is a couple of pics for it. Thought I would post here for you guys seeing how ive learned alot by reading here. Thank you.

I haven't seen much like that, although it certainly does look like maze brain with a very irregular growth pattern. I've seen other corals grow in really goofy configurations, so just because the brain shouldn't look anything like that shape-wize, I wouldn't rule it out. If it were, it would have typically fairly small tentacles that should be present between the ridges of the pink/green tissues.

Not especially rare, but I don't see them in reef tanks often, no idea why.
