Looks like a chalice to me... looks as if it was bad off at one time and someone saved it!

When i got it. It was a wreck. Then it suffered a week+ at 15 dKh 6 months later. So its been to hell and back.

If i remember correctlt there were over 25 around its rim and on its underside. LFS was infested with them at the time so this was a freebie to save it.

It looks like a echinopora. If that's the case keep him away from other corals.
