Looks like a leather. Is it soft or hard when you touch the coral?

here are some recent photos. It has really started to take off.

This thing keeps growing and looking like it's doing good. I've noticed that it shrivels after the lights go off, and then grows up and out after the lights turn back on. Not sure if I should dose with a blue pill when the lights go out.

Looks like Kenya tree. Could also be sinularia. Have you seen polyps fully extended?

Edit: Based on small polyp size, I'm thinking a sinularia.
