Picked it up in San Diego for 5 bucks

I do not believe it is a cactus pavona due to the fact it doesn't look like it has any poyps like the one I have...I think it is a green leptosera. Look that up the way the coral seems to be encrusting on the rock and the design of the coral leads it to that.
 
I looked all over San Diego for that one.
Please bring it back.

It does look like a pavona. there's several types. I have a green one that has much finer closer together structure to it. Also a red on that's more similar in spacing and polyp structure but is shaggy now.

I agree it looks like a Pavona. Likely P. cactus, however, I'm going to put in my dark horse bet that it could be P. maldivensis as well.
