Got this little guy today. Its about the size of a nickle. It has a mouth and the tentacles go clear.

Any idea??

It's a plate coral, likely Cycloseris or Fungia.

Wow your right. Being attached to something vertical completely threw me off.

I found one very similar to that growing from the base of a candy coral. Started out so small I had no idea what it was so I left it. After a couple of months it was obvious what it was. No idea where it came from, I had the coral for months before it appeared, but hey, not complaining! lol
