I bought this leather at a local store labeled as yellow leather. Is it a yellow toadstool or is it a yellow fiji leather? I have it in a 20 long with marsaqua leds sitting on top. It gets some flow but not a lot. Just trying to get a positive id so I know if I need to give it more light/ flow. Sorry for the fish poo. It done it right as I was taking the photo

Pretty sure it’s either a toadstool or crown I’ve never seen a finger leather look like that. It has a pretty decent foot and base stalk. Someone local had mentioned maybe it being a fiji leather but it just didn’t look Like one to me from the pics I’ve seen. If it’s a toadstool or crown will it retain that yellow color or lose it. Should I treat it like my other leathers as far as lightning and flow?

As to the flow, they might need a touch more to shed...but aside from that you should be able to treat it as any other. All my leathers have held onto the color pretty well.

Looks like a yellow Fiji leather to me, but they’re coming in from Tonga now. They take high light and medium flow, enough flow to wash the fish poop away

What mixedfruit and nano said.

If the raised undulations of the capitulum don't include the rim, then it would be Lobophytum (crown leather), but this looks like Sarcophyton
