Not good. If it starts to dissolve thats a bad thing. In a cycling tank, thats not a good thing.

Dissolving = dead. Ammonia usually kills corals. Leathers release toxins into the water when they get stressed out.

I just tested my ammonia and it barely started dropping is there any hope?

Oh Haha well I think it's dead/dying, i have a 96w wave point HO t5 with 1 actinic, 2 coral wave bulbs, 1 10k and a hydor 425 for flow, ammo looks like .25

ya doesnt look too good.. how high is your ammonia? also tie it to a small piece of rock using a rubber band to keep it from floating away again. It also helps it to get a hold on the rock

If you want to keep that I'd start going water changes to keep that ammonia in check.

Colts will suprise you though, Ive seen them look like a pile of mush then a month later fully open, its obviously stressed because of water parameters but it could make a rebound.
