2yr old stable tank. Changed lighting from black box to Radion Gen3 on 3/18/16. Also moved Gyre XF-130 to the same end as Monti.
Lights overall brightness is at 75% but max intensity has been 41%.
Is it lighting or flow?

Set your lights to acclimate. Also check out some of the program's other reefers have. I'm running the SPS AB+ and like the color. I'm running only 50% on a 90g at 7" above surface and about another 7" from any coral.

I'm thinking it might be to late. What's not visible with lights on, is with a flashlight there are large areas of total white. I'm totally disgusted [emoji35]
I ran a 4-5 week acclimation schedule already.

Going through the same thing with my Kessils and a Idaho grape. Tried to acclimate it over the course of 5 weeks and mines doing the same as yours. I broke a few frags off and no matter where they are in the tank they are bleaching. All my other montis, zoas, LPS and SPS are perfectly fine and growing.

Exactly! Stranger still is that it was doing wonderful under the black box-lol. Guess it's a coral that really doesn't need good lighting.

Not looking for lighting argument nor am I looking to be challenged over my simple choice of words.
I'm looking for input about my Monti. Got anything helpful?

Not looking for lighting argument Russ ok. Let me be more specific, least someone gets hurt feelings. My black box was on its way out after 2yrs. Was nowhere near as nice compared to my Radion.

would be difficult to hurt my feelings.

was only curious as others may be considering them as well.

from what it appears like though: you may have cooked him, or didnt acclimate to the new lighting.

at the end of the day... the "bad" light kept him alive.

the "good" light killed it.

id question your experience.
