I'm looking for a 5' long LED fixture to put over my 180 tank; 6x2x2. I going to run a mixed reef with primarily LPS & softies. From looking around I haven't seen many long LED fixtures that have the modern features such as multiple colors & channels, internet & mobile phone apps. There are lots of smaller nice LED but there seems to be a 'hole' in the market for a long LED fixture. If you have any recommendations or experiences with long LED fixtures please chime in.

hmmmm i think that 3-4 ai sol's would be great
i have two on my 75 and they grow anything i put in.

either that or 3 radions,i would go with the ai's though radions arent that bad but i have one on my 60 cube and the par at the bottom isnt great because the radions lack optics.

Depending on your budget .... Sfiligoi and Vertex make some nice fixtures .... pricey but nice!

You'd probably be better off with multiple smaller fixtures, rather than a single long one. Depending on mounting height and optics, you could have a lot of wasted space with a giant fixture. I can't say that I've seen many that are really long. Acan lighting makes a nice fixture that is 4' long. I've seen them in person and they have great color, nice controls, etc.
