I have had GHA few months back and I used Vibrant weekly per the dose and removed all the GHA by hand and got rid of the GHA but right after that I saw this green stuff covering small area on the rock and I tried to clean it up with a toothbrush and a month later day before yesterday I spoke to a few people and said it seems like it’s cyano so I treated with Chemiclean and it’s still no luck. It’s NOT Dino as I can see it clear when the lights are off and when the lights are on it’s there but can’t tell as much. Anyone can help me with this?? Today in the evening will be my 48 hours since I treated with Chemiclean. I have 70 gallons approximately total volume no media running Amonia is 0 Nitrites are 0 Nitrates are 8PPM PO4 is 0.04 PH is 8.37 Temp is 78.2 Salinity is 1.026 Alk is 7.74 Cal is 416 and Mg is 1162 currently I only have two clowns, one yellow tang, one divided leopard wrasse, one royal gramma, two azure damsel fish

please help..

hey I have a work thread that directly, exactly matches your reef. all the growths you want to know about are covered here, as well as action plans. this is a perfect model to follow:

that explains why the growths are there, what to do, when the action setpoint is (cleaning them out vs allowing them)
