I suffer from MTS and recently had to breakdown my reefer 170 which was my bedroom tank and I really miss not having a tank in there. I'm looking at the IM 15g AIO . I have other tanks ranging from 40g to 330g but I want something small and easy to maintain to place in our BR. For those of you that own one or have owned one would you recommend it? Feel free to comment and share photos.

Admitting is the first step.

I have had the IM 20, 40 and now the IM 14 peninsula. All great tanks, I did upgrade stock pumps in all of them.
Pretty much all nano equipment fits in IMs or is produced and distributed by IM. Not a fan of their skimmer. They make a nice drop in UV though. The Mighty Jets are supposedly good upgrade return pumps.
Sounds like you're looking for a cube?

I vote no unless you are willing to pay for the custom evap lids.

These tanks will raise the humidity in your bedroom and depending on where you live that can be pretty awful. I would go with a traditional tank with a glass top.

Thanks but I'm not to worried about humidity. I ran the reefer 170 open top. I also have a 65g in the dining room and a 330g in the living room both open top. House is a small ranch and I run a dehumidifier 24/7

I found it hard to maintain. Always needing RO, my water would be fine one day, then cloudy the next, I had a huge algae outbreak that killed my corals and I never found a light that wad good for corals that was too strong! Disassembled mine a few months ago and wanted to set it back up but I just dont think its worth the hassle. Im also not good at keeping corals. Just one issue after another for me, and maybe thats cause Ive never really had a small tank before and just am not used to the maintenance of it? All my freshwater tanks as a kid were at least 70 gallons so thats the smallest Ive tried. Cute little tank though, might set it up in my office but not sure. Let us know how it goes if you get one!

That's too bad. The design is sweet.
i plan on removing the back chamber after i move so i can drill it and turn it into a peninsula style tank to better catch that “drop off” feel, hopefully i can end up making a sweet scape to fit that also but it really is a shame they stopped making them/ those design isn’t more popular

I found a place that sold the IM 20 starter . Perfect size honestly as I needed to downsize to something manageable for moving .

Total for the starter kit (bought at Aquacave), top mesh cover(BRS, IM branded for the 20) and the media caddy tray(bought at IMs website) was still severely less than the Nuvo pro version. I even had the cute little scraper magnet they include with the pros . The only other thing I’d like to eventually replace is the return pump system for a stronger one/two.

Hopefully you kept some of your goni?
Did yours ship from aquacave? They show 23 of the 20g in stock and it is unavailable everywhere else even at IMs site

Here is a picture of my IM 15. It’s still got a ways to go but I enjoy it.

I just ordered the IM 20 starter kit. Aquacave shows 23 in stock and IM has none so hopefully they have some in a warehouse. After thinking about it the 20 will be a great fit on the Reefer 170 stand which is still in very good shape. I also like the larger rear chamber. I have a couple of mesh bags full ceramic bio rings that have been in my sump for years so I'm hoping to place them in the back chamber and only have rock that has coral on it in the display.
I have three gen4 xr15s and a hydra 26 HD along everything else needed including coral so the tank is my only expense. This may turn out to be my cheapest build to date lol.

Mine is in my bedroom. This is not a thing. Personally, I like the IM15 for a nano.
