I am running a Sicce 1.5 with a random flow generator and it seems like too much flow for my IM 15 gallon. My alveopora is getting blasted and my fire fish only comes out when the pump is off. He’s happier with the stock pump but the alveopora isn’t.

So I need a new pump with more flow than the stock pump, but not as much as the 1.5. Should I go with the Sicce 1.0 or the Mightyjet 326 turned way down?

Agreed, the Sicce 1.5 (358 gph) pump is too large/powerful for the Nuvo 15 gallon. Even a .5 Sicce (185 gph) might work depending on coral plans. Before you invest did you try to close your 1.5 almost all the way?

I have use the Sicce 1.0 and 1.5 in a Nuvo 20 and 25. If it was me I would run the Sicce 1.0 closed half way and see how it works.

I have an IM 20 and i run a jebao dcw-1500 (396GPH) on 1/3 to 1/2 speed. The rest of the flow I suppliment with an mp10. Slower through the chambers is actually better but with the 1.5 on a 15g you are pumping 23x turnover through it. Aim for 10x max.
