Once all the rock gets in there I'll have to do some repositioning of course. I'm about to break up the larger rock and hopeful none of the anemones are injured.

Still brainstorming on breaking this rock apart so I'm stalling a bit. Thought I'd share this little distraction. A nephew of mine adopted this crayfish that they were raising in their classroom. When school was out at had to go somewhere. One of the few tanks I don't mind doing 100% water change daily. I still need to figure out what I'm going to do with him.

See, looking much better already. You’ve got enough going on in there where you won’t notice the lack if sand at all. I’m not a fan of bare bottom usually but I think this works.

Minor scare with the light but it just came unplug internally. Quick fix and it was operational. Everything is in the new tank! Letting things settle down for a little while in there there will maybe move a few things around.

I was going to take pictures breaking up the rock but when I seen the anemones hanging off of it I panicked a little bit and decided to hustle. It went really well. The Hollywood stunner is not real happy. This rock was on the top and set the anemones where attached on the underside of it I had to turn it sideways to keep from crushing a couple of the anemones.

Wow, everthing looks good so far. That's the first time I've seen travertine used on the bottom, even though a google search shows people have tried it years ago!

Did you buy a certain kind or prep it before it went in your sump to be seeded?

I kept about 80% of it in the back of my AIO sump for about 2 months to season it.

Loving the build thus far. I just noticed the IM 25 lagoon and am intrigued about setting one up for nems. Following along.
Appreciate it very much. I've been searching around trying to find some rock flower anemone packs. Hopefully find something I like and can maybe order next week. Maybe another bubble tip as well. Something with a bit different color.

Included a bit of the underside of the cabinet. As you can tell it's pretty darn simple. I've actually been very happy with this ATO reservoir. I picked this up at Amazon and this one holds 22 quarts. It was about $30-$40 withe lid. Nice and clear and I like the fact it has the quarts listed. The anemones on the left rockscape moved so I was able to tip the rock down which I like much better. The clam also moved a bit which surprise me. I think it's a good spot for him though.

It's a busy week with the kids so everything's on hold... Which is just fine! I'll continue building out the doors and drawer next week.
