Beautiful tank! We’ve got a IM 20 Peninsula. They make great all in one nano tanks. Are you going to do any coral?

Let me know when you’re ready to try your first Zoa. I’ll happy give you one to get started. We’re in Mesa.

Welcome, it’s looking great. Just an FYI you can start a build thread Here and just keep adding to the same thread instead of making multiple threads for the same topic. Doing so also let’s you add the build thread banner to your name which people can then click and be sent straight to your thread.

other than that it’s looking great. Loving the scape. Keep it going.

Also a couple of things I noticed that may be a little redundant. You’re running carbon, biopellets and chemipure blue. Chemipure blue is actually Carbon and an exchange resin which is similar to purigen that removes nitrates like biopellets. Save yourself the money and run either just the chemipure blue or the carbon and bio pellets. Really for as bare as this system is I would just do a bag of chemipure blue and replace it once a month. No need for the extra carbon and biopellets.

the fluval ceramic rings are okay but you should look into swapping it out with pond matrix. Way more dense and tons more surface for bacteria to grow in.

keep an eye on that dragonet and keep adding lots of pods, your system looks pretty new and the pod population is probably not as dense as it should be for a dragonet. I’d go check your LFS and pick up reef stew to seed and replenish your pod population.

and my last bit of advice is to never be too lazy to vacuum up that sand. You’d be surprised how much crap gets trapped down there.
