Interested to know if this aluminum stand would be able to support a 120 gallon breeder which has almost the same dimensions as an SR80 (slightly short of the 120’s 48 by 24 inches).

Well if the 120 is actually 48" no, now if its ty he following diamesions I would think ,actual stand dimensions according to them is 47.44 x 23.82. I can get actual measurements in am.

If you want an aluminum stand go with 80/20 , no back ,sides are w/e, 80/20 fitting don't fit.

Or build a wood stand.

If the stand is similar in dimension it will be strong enough, watch one of their videos when they stacked a bunch of stuff on one of their stands. If the tank is bigger put a bigger piece of wood on it.

I actually contacted IM directly since the dimensions of a 120 are about 1/2 inch deeper and longer than the stand and they would not confirm or deny that a 120 would fit on the stand. I would think placing a 3/4 inch sheet of plywood on top would be more than enough support for a 120 since standard 120’s without their plastic rims are about the same size as the stand.

80/20 stand would be ideal but they cost almost double the APS and the APS is in effect an APS stand.

I got a stand from Framing Tech few weeks ago; worked with Anthony. Couldn't be happier with the process and the profiles I received look super solid. I have some family over until after labor day so I had to put off assembly; I'll post pics once all done. Can't wait.

Here are some drawings for 82 x 32 x 46" (yes 46" tall!!!)
