Does anyone know what the material used on the sides is? I can’t figure out if it’s some sort of pvc board or acrylic.

Has anyone drilled through it? I want to mount my controllers on the outside of it

APS stands for aluminum profile stand, so I just always assumed they were aluminum. Curious to know if there is anything else.
Yeah the structural part is aluminum, I’m curious about the shiny decorative panels. I want to drill through mine

Got it! On my white cabinet the doors just looked like aluminum too. But my 170 stand is in black, and it does look more like a mirror finish compared to the structural part.

If you don’t get an answer here, Brian at Innovative Marine is very responsive to emails.

I believe it’s the same PVC type material that Red Sea uses

I’m not 100% on that - but it’s not wood.

Their support team should be able to answer - I ask companies stuff like this all the time

Doors on my im50 are aluminum and the sides without doors are pvc and foam

I got a reply back from IM. The part I was talking about (the glossy center board in the doors and side) is an acrylic vinyl.
