I'm going to go insane!

I have Reef Dynamic ins-135 skimmer its been an amazing unit, but all of a sudden its making a burping sound and when I attempt to make adjustment it stop but then make a sound that I can only describe as what a pressure cooker sounds like maybe a little lower. so its one sound or another and I'm just extremely frustrated at this point.

Ok so I did what I had to do and took the skimmer out placed it in a large plastic bin and cleaned it and also let the pump run with water and vinegar took the impeller out and cleaned it. After putting it all back together in runs and sounds like new!!
