AHA! title baited you in I bet. Nothing wrong with it, but I figured someone may like to see the internals of these very expensive heater/controller combos. I doubt very many people that have these are willing to open it up, so here it is for posterity:

Fairly impressed, but I can't speak for longevity. My only issue with the whole system so far is the crazy long power cord (I can't cram that much cord in my current build) I wonder why I would be opening this up ;)

Yup haha still no attempts at keeping out water, but at least it doesn't have a fan to pull moist salty air into it lol

For the price, that power cord better be made of 20ft copper. All those caps at the bottom of the picture (and what's between them) is almost an identical implementation of the 12v EB832 PSU, but with better caps and on the main board.
What's with the jumper wire coming out of the transformer?

Agreed, if I have learned anything recently is that someone willing to buy a product like this, is definitely not going to check a manufacturer on their product lol
