I haven't been on here in awhile. I've had to cut back on the hobby. My Mothers' health has gotten the better of her. Parkinson's has taken her mobility...now she is bedbound. She now needs to be on oxygen 24/7...her COPD is acting up. Her Doctor has put her on Hospice, I'm keeping her here at home. She is still battling with Alzheimers....she still has good days, bad days. The reason I'm on here is 2-8-19 will be Mom's 86th birthday. She has only a few friends left...about 3 still living. She loves getting cards in the mail. They bring a smile to her face. I open them for her and show them to her. I then hang them in her room. And now and again, she'll ask if she got any cards. I show her the cards again and they bring a smile to her face again...she is happy someone is thinking about her. So, I'm just asking...if you would like to send Mom a birthday card....please do. It's a little thing that would mean so much to her. She loves butterflies.
