IM Nuvo 50 lagoon AIO filtration question

So my Wife just got a IM Nuvo 50 lagoon AIO, I bought a media reactor and it comes with a media tower. my question is there is two spots for filter socks or the media tower. in what combination should I use the filter socks media reactor or media tower. (Ex. left side over flow with media tower with a media reactor in second chamber and filter sock on right overflow or two filter socks with no media tower and use the media reactor.) Also If I should use the media reactor what type of media should we put in there?

I have the IM 25 lagoon AIO, which has a similar back section. The media tower and filter socks are basically interchangeable, you can run one or the other, or one of each. Personally, I don't care for filter socks, I think they are a pain to clean, so I prefer to use media towers, which I think are more versatile.

I see you have what looks like a skimmer as well? If so, I'd suggest running a media tower in the first section on one side, and your media reactor in the first section on the other side. Your skimmer can go in the 'fuge section on one side right where it is in your picture, and the other 'fuge section can be used for your heater.

In the center return section, put your ATO sensor and return. If you don't have an ATO, I'd very much recommend on as they keep your salinity stable, which is very important for corals
