My guess is that's the worst case scenario. They tell you that so you aren't going to bug them every week asking if it's done yet, haha. But, I would bet they are much faster than that. Even custom builds from big manufacturers like Planet don't take that long to ship.
 
Funny you should ask. Ordered Jan 12th got a call it’s showing up today.

Last yr I ordered the IM 25 Lagoon. The wait time was 3 months. I got the tank 4 days after I ordered it. 👍
