Impressive pH and Alk consumption changes

Got back last night around 10:00. I never imagined we humans produce so much CO2! :astonished-face:

Big swings though , you got a sump you can light at night?
Already have a 20 g standalone fuge on an opposing 16 hour light schedule that grows chaeto like nobody’s business. The swings actually used to be even bigger if you can believe it.

Hmm don’t know then sorry
Maybe it’s no issue idk

Everything seems really happy, but I know I could get faster growth if I boosted the pH. I think my zoas popped 10-15 new heads, and my encrusting corals grew half an inch while I was gone and pH was way up. I’ve never seen such rapid growth!

Wasn’t saying boost it you peak at 8.7 , I would prefer less a swing but not sure how to do that

Ya, I see what you are saying, but even if I can’t reduce the swing, I’d like to bring the whole curve up a bit. The swing was still there when I was gone, but everything was higher and my coral growth went through the roof.
