I would suggest earth magnets embedded in the trim, or something like this

Curious why you would want to remove the trim?

I stuck mine on with 16 ga finish nails into studs, so im the wrong person to ask, or to point out that i missed something, lol!

Covering the glass, top and bottom, so the plastic isn’t visible. Covering the right hand side by 2” so the ghost overflow isn’t visible.
I have this thing about not being able to see overflows, returns, heaters, chords or flow pumps in my DT. So with the overlap, I want to be able to remove it, for those times a gyre goes crazy and jettisons water over the front side and I need to clean up the salt trail. ( that’s the short answer :D)

I get covering the trim- exactly why I did mine. But I sealed my drywall with killz and then 2 coats of bathroom 100% latex paint, and plan to seal the trim to the glass on the front panel with caulk. That way, any splashes will just end up back in the DT and won’t soak in because everything is waterproofed and sealed. I hope
