Just a bit of a gripe here, but I think a lot of vendors consider us stupid consumers.

Case in point, with all these SO CALLED MEMORIAL DAY "SALES" going on, I was excited to pick up a few pieces from an out-of-state vendor. I had been watching the price of the corals I liked for weeks, and then a few days before the sale, all items disappeared. OK, figured they were doing an inventory.

However, day of sale, and these frags are jacked up in price, and then "put on sale" 20%, 30% off, sometimes not even reducing it far enough to meet the price I saw a few weeks ago.
Do these guys really think we don't notice? Just felt the need to vent, not expecting anything to change whatsoever. We're all insane for being in this hobby in the first place and paying what we do =)

don’t support sleazy businesses like this. I would check the home state’s rule on deceptive pricing and if there was somewhere I could file a complaint I would.
