Indoor Saltwater Pond

Recently I just watched Paul Caffaro's video on getting the black tip reef or u could call the shark pond series/ Ive been thinking about doing 1 myself now that i know its possible. Take note this is NOT a tomorrow project. This is a project 2-4 years down the road. Ive been wanting to know on what is needed for the pond. I need to know if any of you know companies who build circular or long ponds with circular sides with glass views in them, even for the 1 that built PC's one. Im also wondering if i need to do any layering of some sort to make sure the pond is safe for the fish i plan to do (which is similar to PC's fish in his shark pond). I saw him putting epoxy with paint and fiberglass. I also want to know where, how and what filtiration I need, basically flow, lights, temp, and the main Saltwater Data i need to know. Is it custom built or do people sell huge filtiration now?

So basically what i need to know is:

What lighting i need?
The filtiration i need and plumbing work
The safe temp for the pond

Do know that I live around asia, Malaysia. Im planning to do it in a garage or basically indoor and make it atleast 3-5k Gallons

I have not watched the video, but when I had an indoor koi pond I just used ambient light. No "light" reduces the growth of algae that you might have to deal with.

I would look at pond filtration for fresh water, and maybe add a skimmer. The principals for keeping the water clear are the same as fresh water for a fish only system.

Water changes and filter maintenance proceedures for salt water are more challenging than an outdoor freshwater pond where you can dump the fresh water onto the garden.

Saltwater should (ideally) go into the sanitary sewer for treatment to prevent introduction of pond pathogens into the local marine environment. More questions than answers, but I wanted to give you something. :smiling-face-with-sunglasses:

U answered half my questions already, Thank you so much, 1 more question tho if you know the answer to it, is the building or construction for freshwater ponds and saltwater ponds the same? or does saltwater need a certain type of layering or some random stuff ill need?

You mentioned a window, that is probably going to be a hard sided build using fibreglas?

I have seen indoor ponds that used a PVC liner or an EPDM (EDPM?) roofing rubber 45ml liner with cinderblock wall support, or wood walls, or plywood walls to support the liner when it was filled. Those don't generally have a viewing port, or window build in if they are home made.

Manufactured aquaculture fiberglass tubes, generally round I have seen with viewing windows but those would mostly fill the space inside of a standard garage.

I have not tired to build or to purchase either of these? They are available on line

Oh on my pond build im just gonna find a company to build it, prob a circular or something like a hexagon so i can keep some type of shark. The viewing panel would be set up by them too, ill have them measure the walls and glass properly so it can hold all the water inside it. U could look at Paul Caffaro's recent black tip shark video, similar to that probably

I just really need to know what ill need for salinity control on such a big pond, and what type of filters to keep the pond pristine, planning to keep sharks, trevalleys too. If anyone knows do anwser.
