That's exactly what I do. There is no reason to be concerned about 1 deg F temp swings.

The swing might be more of a thing in a small tank, but in my tank, temp moves very slowly and even a 2 deg F swing is neither problematic nor unnatural.

In reality, mine does not swing that much even in 24 h.

There are multiple Inkbird models, and specifications can vary between them. The ITC-306A (with dual temperature probes) allows a temperature differential of as little as 0.5°F, while other models may only allow 1°F or more.

Does your Inkbird display show the same fluctuations as your Apex, or is it staying within the 1° differential according to its own controller?

I thought it was best to have a pretty stable temperature like within 5 or 1° Fahrenheit but two just seems like quite a bit off and on all day and night, do you think I should not really worry about that or?

Natural reefs have temp changes,especially in reef shallows or lagoons where it can be much bigger than 2 deg F. I do not worry about a temp range of, say, 78-80 or 79-81.
