Innovative Marine 20G Long - Dimensions: Help

Ok, so I'm a bit confused on what the actual length of this tank - on their website the dimensions are stated as below:

• Outside DIMS: Length 23.6” Width: 15” Height: 13”
• Display DIMS: Length 23.16” Width: 11.38” Height: 13”

I would like to know how the Width of 11.38" is possible given that the chamber depth is 2.8 inches (15" minus 2.8" = 12.20") - that's 20mm difference. And the second diagram shows a different number of 11.60".

Reaching out to see if anyone with this tank can verify what the internal dimensions are.

I have this tank, which chamber specifically do you want the inside dimensions of?

The inside Dimensions is probably also taking into consideration of the glass thickness.

The glass thickness of this tank is 6mm or 0.23622"

15" is the total exterior width. The 11.38" interior is the 15" exterior minus the 2.8" rear chamber, AS WELL AS the thickness of the front and rear glass and the back acrylic divider. The total interior display width should be 11.38" when including (subtracting for) the glass and baffle.

11.60" is the dimensions from the front of the glass to the front of the rear baffle.

I have this tank, which chamber specifically do you want the inside dimensions of?

The inside Dimensions is probably also taking into consideration of the glass thickness.

How do you find the tank? I like the width of it, but wished it had more length, which then again I could get the 25G lagoon, but then I won't have a stand or the real estate for it.

Do you find feel like you could use more room?

The lagoon is the way to go! Length is so important in saltwater tanks and allows so many other type of fish!
