hey guys I just wanted to start a build thread for my first saltwater tank. I have always wanted a reef tank since I first seen one at my friends house when I was a child likely around the age of 9 or 10. I have had fresh water tanks for many years but I have finally jumped into salt water.
Here is a list of the hardware for my tank.
Tank-50 gallon ext
Sump- AR-100
Lights- 2 xr15 blue
Power heads-2 mp40s
Return-vectra s2
Skimmer-nyos quantum 120
Heaters-2 brs titanium systems
I have been slowly working away at this build since the start of October, so far I have plumbed everything for the sump and build my hard scape. I was not planning making a build thread but I was starting to fill my tank tonight and have some spare time as it was filling! My plans for this tank is to be lps and softies. Anyways I will take some pictures and show everyone what I have been working on for the past little bit!
