Pulled the trigger on one of these for my IM SR2 80. First impressions:

It's a lot bigger than I imagined it was, but fits perfectly in the filter sock compartment. Build quality seems good, solid construction. I am hoping that this helps with some of my algae issues I've been dealing with. Rolling mechanism is very quiet so I don't think that the automatic rolling will be noticeable.

Just thought I'd give some starting impressions in case anyone's been thinking about it.

I'll follow up after it's run for a bit.

after running for a few weeks its so much better than the filter socks XD. I like that it moves a set amount every 12 hours rather than the reefmat sensor driven, I have a nanomat in my max nano peninsula and sometimes that thing just decides it wants to go on a walk sometimes. picking up a good amount of gunk and my nitrate/phosphate is looking better.

Hey bro, can you help me with some issues that i have?
I bought the Roller but I want to use in a nanoaquarium made by me with back sump, so i Need a Photo to de back sump and how the Roller supported in the back sump because I Need to do it.
Thanks a lot if you can help me

Since I have the sr2 80 it just slots in so not sure how useful but:

Any updates on these? Happy with it? Able to find filter rolls through any third party cheaper? Do you have it on just one side or both? I am looking at getting the im 80

Wow I wish it wasn't so unsightly, my IM SR80 will be going in the living room and this wouldn't have the WAF lol.

I really love mine those socks just get nasty . so nice to be able to just put a need clean roll in every month or so . i have one on my 20 desktop . what i really need is a stl files to make back covers with my 3d printer so my cats stop sticking there paws in the water thinking they can get my Clowns

HOW MUCH DOES A FISH’S FEEDING REQUIREMENTS AFFECT YOUR STOCKING DECISIONS?
