Our partner in Tonga sent us this pic of a Rainbow 4 inch Carpet Anemone. Not the sharpest pic, but gets the point across. Hopefully we'll have it at the end of the month. Pretty crazy!

Very nice. Is this one of those nems that previously popped up about 3 or 4 years ago and they were hard to ID? Maybe Heterodactyla hemprichii? I got one then, but it didn’t last long. Ihave other carpets (stichodactyla) from then that are still alive now. Just couldn’t figure out what they needed. Mine didn’t arrive sticky though, so maybe it was on its way out.

Nothing weird, just the standard mini carpet, just crazy color obviously.

You’re trying to say that these are maxi min anemones, (stichodactyla tapetum)
Because honestly I don’t believe you….
maxis NEVER come that colorful from anywhere…. It’s much more likely that this is just a smaller specimen of a pizza nem or other stichodactyla sp.
