in my 40 year history I've had reliable consistent results as for as one batch to another with IO, yes 40 years.
Whats everyone else's consistent mixing results at a salinity of 1.026. Or at your specific gravity ?
Calcium
Alkalinity
Magnesium
PH

Having some equipment monitoring issues and trying to narrow down multiple monitor failures, or is my salt really mixing here, and on top that, is my tank really here at these levels.

CA = 410 - 425 ppm
Alkalinity = 10 - 11 dKh
Mg = 1250 - 1400 (varies a lot by batch)
pH = don't test

pH will be controlled by the CO2 in the air you mix it in. There is a native pH to the salt mix, but it immediately disappears as CO2 enters or leaves the water.

Randy, thank you on this comment, I didn't realize the PH would be immediately effected. I have 300 gallons mixed up and has been mixing for 4 days now, so I can see, manipulating PH is a waste of time. thanks again !!!!

Alk ~9.5
Calcium ~380-400
Mag ~1250

Always found it comical that more expensive pro mixes have less of the expensive minerals but cost more.

Dont get me started on trace element claims.

There are way better salts?? What are they? Mortons?
You joke, but really why not? Sodium chloride is the primary ingredient and our salt mixes. The guy with the 17k reef tank uses basic kitchen salt and epsom salt (combined with ESV liquids).
