So long story short I did an interceptor treatment for bugs in my infinia frag 175 with the 23mg tablets from my vet.

Seems to have worked. My last icp was on 10/07/25. Shows iodine at 66. I dropped the first dose in the water and after 48 hours I did a 30 gallon water change and returned back to normal with skimmer and such. Same day took samples for a comparison icp and sent them off. 11/05/25 test results show iodine is at 2 that’s a crazy drop even for doing a water change with nyos pure salt.

So it seems likely that the drop in value is due to the treatment but what is the cause? Outside of iodine everything else on the icp results is spot on

No serious negative effects other than slightly less stable phosphate levels and what appears to be a dino outbreak but that’ll pass on its own so overall great pretty painless pretty curious about the iodine tho if anyone has any insight or similar experience
