Heck, turn on your tank in the middle of the night and check out your SPS.... you can see them with the naked eye no problem if you have them.

Disclaimer: If you are old enough to drink, you should already know not to play with your expensive toys while doing so!

Thanks Neptune Aquatics. I was a little unsure if Condor meant to put "No. Not at all" or "No. Not all" as in not all snails will die.

I nuked my tank a couple weeks ago and only lost a single crab.... The only one I had lol... All snails were fine and even some hefty pods made it threw... I pulled the airline off the skimmer for 12hrs and dosed a half a pill.... No water change or carbon for like a week after wards since I didn't have time and everything looks great and is doing well....;)

Thanks Rev for the clarification.

I heard that after dosing Interceptor your SPS looks amazing, almost as if their colors illuminate. Has anyone experienced this?

That's probably going to depend on how bad the RB situation was to begin with. I'm not aware of Interceptor benefiting the coral itself other than by killing the RB on it.

That dosing level worked for me as wells. When I treated at that level I did a water change after 8 hours and replaced the carbon, then replaced the carbon again after 24 hours.

With a magnifying glass can you see red bugs. A guy was over a while ago and said my colors were a little of just like his. He said he couldn't see the red bugs until a friend brought his macro lens over and took some pictures. I am thinking about treating with interceptor as a precaution. I mean what could it hurt. I have no crabs at all.

here is a pic of redbugs ...

those pics were of my bonsai (no worries, though, those pics are a 2-3 years old, lol) ... and taken with a point and shoot camera, but i figure ... if we are talking about them, we might as well know what we are looking for.

I'd always see them first on an SPS like a Lokani, where they stand out the most. Bali Green slimer shows them off pretty good too.
