the elevation on top of hanns peak CO, is approx 10,000ft,steamboat springs CO is approx 6500 ft a 30 minute drive,temp range can be as much as 40 degrees difference,average snowfall is 60 ft top of the mountain,did not google ,worked there for a while :)

Nope.. The largest living organism is Pando.. A grove of Aspens in Utah. I know because the wife made us drive 2 hours out of our way to see it. Hey look.. an Apsen forest. LOL

China mushroom mycelia though.. that is so 2014. :)

Utah? My bad. I thought they were still arguing about the size of the mushroom vs. the aspens.
