i'd like to use something like this for an actinic application (i like my MH's too much)

YIKES!! Look at the prices on those things.

YIKES!! Look at the prices on those things.

BUT.....you don't need a ballast, draw less energy, expell less heat, and they'll last for YEARS before you have to replace them.

AND...they are still a heck of allot cheaper than that Solaris LED lighting.

they need to make those in t5 size, then without the reflector you could fit a ton in a small space
