Having trouble with my ATK intermittently. Looking for troubleshooting guidance.

Setup:
- 55 gallon w/Eshopps external overflow (U tube style)
- Apex EL, EB832, Trident, FMM, Standard Neptune ATK (two optical sensors, provided bracket, tubing, PMUP, etc)
- Standard ATK programming code from the wizard applied to 24v EB832 output.

Monitoring my conductivity probe and seeing dilution intermittently, about once a week. Last night specifically I was seeing off/on ATK high switch alarms, but no conductivity shift, so I turned off the 24v output for the PMUP, just in case.

This morning I wake up and find the conductivity dropped from 36 to 35. I don't see how/why that would happen with the PMUP powered down. Especially with the alarm being on the entire time. I took the PMUP out of the ATO reservoir so it can't mis-behave anymore temporarily.

Am I looking at an intermittent optical switch issue, EB832 mis-behaving, or maybe FMM issue? Logs attached. Thanks everyone.

As far as the high alarms, have you cleaned the sensors recently? Also if you're using it make sure the pin hole in the syphon break is clean. Thats where I would start. Other things to look at and make sure they're clean is the return pump and weir teeth.

I normally don't pay too much mind to conductivity flux but when I see it's because of excess water being added I do pay attention.

I did clean the sensors. No siphon break hole, my sump is sized to accommodate powering down without one. I cleaned the U tube and weir teeth, seems to be draining ok.

Thank you for the help

The siphon break isn't related to a power down and sump size. It used to break a siphon from your ATO reservoir when filling depending on the location of your reservoir in relation to your sump to prevent overfilling.

I thought you were talking about a tank return siphon break in the display tank sorry.

I didn't know the ATK had a siphon break but looking at the manual it seems that very well could be my issue. Thank you! I'll give the siphon break cleaning a shot
