Well! Despite my better judgment, i have jumped back in the reefing hobby. Have roughly 20 years of experience before getting out for a less encumbered life. Previous tanks were a bear to maintain-fully automated is FAR from easy or less work. This time-round, i am going slow, small and simplistic.
Here are some pics - this is day 7 of the setup and water is so clear the tank appears to be empty. I start adding ammonia (chloride) tomorrow and expect that to change quickly.
Tanks is a RS Peninsula and love it so far.
